First of all, if you guys might have noticed, my hair bun is not its usual ginormous self. It looks significantly smaller, yes? The birds that used to live in it have flown away and now this was all that's left. Hehe! But kidding aside, I decided to do my hair bun the old fashioned (twisty) way because I wasn't happy with how huge the "donut-assisted" hair bun looked. It's as if I had a football or a half-deflated basketball resting on my head! I would like to keep my hair bun to a minimum, thank you! Besides, if you're having trouble getting in your car or putting on your cross-body bag, then yes, your hair buns are way too big. I think it's about time I get a smaller "donut" for my hair bun. Anyways...
I was feeling rather preppy today. I didn't feel like wearing trousers so I ended up wearing shorts. I just have to say that the blazer and shorts combo is my favorite! It's preppy with a casual twist. The shorts make the whole outfit so laid back and comfortable while the blazer just polishes it up! I've had this navy blue polka dot scarf for almost a month now too so I figured it's about time to wear it. It matched nicely with my vintage shorts. I just love the built-in gold latch buckle thing on my shorts. I didn't have to wear a belt! But if I had to, I would have worn a skinny red belt. Isn't it interesting how gold-laden most vintage stuff are?
